To check how much hard drive space you have available with:

Windows 95

• Click , select Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, then click Drive Space.
• Double click the letter for your hard-drive (probably C:)in the window that appears.
• The total disk space free on your computer's hard disk will be displayed.
• Click OK.

Windows 3.1

• Double-click the Main program group.
• Double-click the MS-DOS Prompt.
• At the DOS prompt, type dir.
• The total disk space free on your computer's hard disk will be displayed. (1,000,000 bytes equal 1 megabyte.)
• Type exit to close the DOS prompt.

Macintosh

• Open any folder.
• Click the View menu and click by Icon (as Icons in Mac OS 8).
• The total disk space available on your computer's hard disk will be displayed at the top right of the folder's window.
